Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented Foot Care Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare?

Revital Health is seeking a dedicated Foot Care Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide professional foot care services, assess and treat common foot conditions, educate patients on preventive care, and help improve their comfort, mobility, and overall well-being. Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Perform comprehensive foot assessments and identify common nail, skin, and foot conditions.

  • Foot Care Treatment: Provide routine and advanced foot care, including nail care, callus reduction, corn management, and diabetic foot care.

  • Patient Education: Educate patients on proper foot hygiene, footwear selection, and preventive foot care practices.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records and treatment notes.

  • Care Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and medical history.

  • Infection Prevention: Follow strict infection prevention, sterilization, and clinical safety protocols.

  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.

  • Compliance & Privacy: Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all professional nursing standards and healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) or the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).

  • Certification: Foot Care Nursing certification or specialized foot care training is preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience providing foot care services is considered an asset.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

  • Clinical Skills: Strong assessment, treatment, and documentation abilities.

  • Organization Skills: Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage appointments efficiently.

  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Professionalism: Commitment to delivering safe, ethical, and high-quality patient care.
